Short Description:

This machine is used to test the wear resistance of textiles, footwear, lining, substrate and similar fabrics. This wear detector is based on J.G. Martindale Design principle, and a test instrument manufactured to the specifications of the Wool Industry Research Association. It uses standard wool felt as a friction material, to wear the detected items such as cloth, etc., of course, according to different test methods, different requirements, to change the friction-standard wool felt, for other materials such as sandpaper, to measure the wear consumption or decolorism of materials. The measured object is clamped on a cylinder, and has a standard weight (determined according to the test method, pressed on the friction object, driven by the vertical and horizontal eccentric wheel, to produce a Li Shayu (Lissajous) pattern, aiming to complete a multi-directional friction test. For general footwear materials, when wearing wear effect test, mostly at the same time to dry, wet two method detection, to simulate the rain on vamp materials, or sweat on the shoes.
